Harold Khan

Harold Viardo Khan, Nomad artist in search of discovering his art. Born and raised in Quezon City to a Singaporean father and a Filipina mother from Manila. Having to watch cartoons as a child and fascinated by Bob Ross on TV every morning he picked up a penchant for drawing. On a stop over in Brunei in 1992 he picked up his first comic book in the Uncanny X-Men #290 and the Infinity War #1. In this issue of the the X-Men there was a page where the character Colossus is depicted wearing a jacket with the Philippine flag and the word „Makulit“ above it. Whilce Portacio‘s illustraion of the pages lit a fire of inspiration in the young Harold. Since then, he began developing his illustration skills in Comic book style. He attended the University of Santo Tomas college of Fine Arts majoring in Advertising. Professionally Harold has been involved in providing visual design and animation for brand clients under numerous Advertising agencies. He also founded a game development studio in San Francisco during the start of gaming boom in Facebook and sat as the Chief of Design for three years until 2016. Harold is also an avid gamer and continues to explore to expand his version of art by experimenting with different mediums that transcends traditional and digital media.
